The World Cup is well underway, and some fans may be looking for ways to celebrate with food. Baker and restaurateur Hans Rockenwagner has created a special World Cup burger for foodie fans, and it includes a soccer ball bun.
You can also purchase a pack of three of the soccer ball brioche buns at Rockenwagner locations and Gelson’s for $3.79. And if you’re looking to catch a game while you eat your burger, Cafe Rockenwagner has brought in a 60-inch flat-screen TV.
Dominick’s in West Hollywood is easing into the culinary cocktail scene with a new olive oil cocktail. Head bartender Gracy Ramirez created the Dom’s Caprese Martini ($12).
It’s made with olive oil-infused Green Mark vodka, Dolin Dry vermouth, tomato water and an atomized spray of aged balsamic vinegar. A basil leaf and mini mozzarella ball serve as the garnish.
The cocktail is available at Dominick’s for a limited time. 8715 Beverly Boulevard, West Hollywood.
