San Sebastian Gastronomika-Euskadi Basque Country will also feature four different areas. Besides ALTA, held in the Kursaal Auditorium and including presentations by top chefs, the world of wine, the of haute cuisine, there will be another space named OFF.
In this area, Wine Sessions will take place, led by Ferran Centelles (former sommelier at El Bulli), Cristina Alcalá and Josep Roca (El Celler de Can Roca). The Italian wine also come to the forefront, with some of the leading experts in the field such as Luca Maroni, Juancho Asenjo and Walter Speller.
OFF will also host other activities such as “Cooking With …”, tutorials classes with top chefs, and “Private Kitchens”, that will consist on workshops for no more than 15 students.
Also, area called Market will embrace the best national and international products and exhibitors from around the world. More than 150 companies will be represented this year and live demonstrations will be organized with the best national and international products.
San Sebastian Gastronomika-Euskadi Basque Country closed its last edition with a great “success” of public, receiving more than 12,500 visitors.
