  10. Dear Sır / Madam,

We herewıth would lıke to ıntroduce our company to you.

We are a Turkish Company specialized in Olive & Olive Oil Production. We have our own label which is named ‘SERVET’
Our location in Turkey is the west of Turkey where all the olive trees are present and those have the hıgh qualıty of olive oil.

As we all know that for many years Turkey has been the thırd largest supplıer of olive & olive oil to the WORLD after Italy and Spain. Thought it varies from year to year, up to 70% of Turkish olive oil is exported in bulk to Italy, Spain, the US and other nations. It is often blended, bottled and re-exported to the US as “bottled in Italy” or “imported from Italy”. The olive tree originated in the region that is now Turkey (“Asian Minor” or “Anatolia”) and later spread around the Mediterranean. The olives in Turkey are mostly harvested by hand and are often grown in organic conditions. The extra costs to get official organic certification prevents many small grower from putting this on the label.

After having said all these, we wıll gıve you lıttle summary of The Tradıonal Method for Producing Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Olive trees are carefully cultivated, and many will produce great olives for hundreds of years. The quality of the olive depends on the soil and weather during the growing season. The ripe olives are harvested and taken to the mill as soon as possible after picking. Giant stone wheels are used to crush the olives into a mash. The mash is spread onto thin mats that are stacked into a press. As pressure is applied, oil and water seep out. No heat is used, hence the term “first cold pressed.” After pressing, if the oil is judged to be excellent, any water is separated out, and the oil is filtered to remove small bits of fruit or pit. Some oils are left unfiltered by preference. Extra is the highest grade for the best, pure, unrefined and unprocessed oil of the fruit. To be graded as Extra Virgin, the oil must exhibit superior taste, aroma and color. And to meet the most exacting labeling standards, it must also have less than one percent free oleic acid. SERVET is proud that its Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the choice of many of the finest chefs, both in restaurants and home kitchens.

We are glad to ıntroduce the hıgh quality olive & olive oil to all markets.
We wıll appreciate to receive your comments and the collaboration..

We are looking forward to hearing from you soon.

    Yours Faithfully,

    Birol Yedikardeşler
    Managing Director
