Until Monday, Trieste will be the capital of Italian olive oil as the city hosts the Olio Capitale exhibition, and extra virgin goes beyond the conference hall in a pacific and tasteful invasion.

Olio Capitale: after 2013 success the Fair takes place again in the renovated halls of Trieste’s Stazione Marittima, in the center of the city, along the sea shore.
Olio Capitale is about to LEARN something more about olive oil through meetings and talk shows to access COOKING CLASSES with some of the best chef: the correct matching olive oils / dishes.

305 extra virgin olive oil producers from all Italian territories on show in Trieste: Abruzzo, Calabria, Campania, Emilia Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Lazio, Liguria, Marche, Molise, Puglia, Sardegna, Sicilia, Toscana, Trentino Alto Adige, Umbria, Veneto as well as Croatia, Albania and only one company from Greece Cooperativa Agricola Sipias with DOP and PDO Certification.
Professional visitors from 30 countries are expected at the show.
