As a member of a producers’ team that implements Integrated Management System in olive cultivation, we can guarantee for the excellent result, an olive oil certified according to the AGRO 2.1 & 2.2 standards’ requirements.
We represent the third generation of a family engaged in olive cultivation and production of extra virgin olive oil. In early 2013, in an attempt to reclaim our passion for olive oil and our parents’ long-term expertise in the field, we decided to take the next step. We invested in the olive oil standardization, in order to produce high quality products. Our goal is to attribute the added value of the “gold” that grows in our land and place it directly to both Greek and foreign customers.
The sensory analysis samples resulted in the following evaluation:
• Fruity: 4.9
• Bitter: 2.9
• Pungent: 3.1
See the results of the chemical analyzes performed on each batch, in collaboration with leading national chemical laboratories. Our goal is to maintain the high quality product characteristics fixed on each standardized batch, regardless of cost.
We have the patience to wait until the precipitation of the “oil must” is complete, in order to avoid the filtration by using mechanical methods. This is proved by the minimum precipitate that can be often visible at the bottom of the container, resembling chunks of orange juice in appearance, which dissolves after a gentle shake.
Small semi-automatic machines are used for bottling, to prevent the product hardship in large product lines. The label affixing and the product packaging are also done by hand. We strictly follow the HAACCP and ISO 22000 procedures, in order to certify each time that our products will arrive to the consumer safely.
