The Koroneiki Olives are hand-picked in Mesenia, Greece when they are still green from November to January. They go into production within 4 hours after harvest to avoid damage and oxidation. All farmers have a multi-generational history of working with us. Trees are as old as 150 years. The Oleos Olive Oil Extra Native is extracted by the means of cold extraction at temperatures below 27 degrees Celsius and is unfiltered. It creates its distinctive taste during a resting period of 2-3 months. We keep only very low level of stock in bottles to make sure we can always provide the freshest quality.
Oleos Extra Native Olive Oil is produced in one of the oldest, family run mesenian oil manufactures, starting off in 1897 with only 9 hectars. Today we are harvesting on 65 hectars with over 3’500 Kroneiki Olive trees. The Oil of highest quality was sold only locally in Greece so far. in 2011 we decided to make this fruity, mild and harmonic Olive Oil with spicy notes of green olives available to a wider range of gourmands in Central Europe. Selling from Austria mainly to high-class Restaurants and Chefs we are dedicating our life to the pursuit of creating the best Olive Oil in the world.
