Hellmann’s is launching a new variant into its dressings portfolio – Hellmann’s With Olive Oil Mayonnaise Style Dressing.
Available in both a jar and an easy-to-use squeezy format, Hellmann’s With Olive Oil has all the goodness of Hellmann’s along with the same unmistakable taste that consumers love, but features a blend of olive oil and is a good natural source of Omega 3.
The product launches at a time when consumers are looking for products with a healthier positioning and seeks to reinvigorate the £146 million Mayonnaise market by offering consumers a new product proposition from an iconic brand.
Kyrie Merryman, senior brand manager for Hellmann’s comments: “Hellmann’s With Olive Oil Mayonnaise Style Dressing will appeal to consumers looking for different flavors and formats during the upcoming BBQ season, and can be used with a variety of dishes – from salads, to grilled meats, and sandwiches. We are very excited about this new product launch.”
The launch will be supported by a £5 million marketing campaign in June 2015 including, TV, Digital, OOH and PR.
The packaging features Hellmann’s distinctive logo against a green background, with Hellmann’s With Olive Oil Mayonnaise Style Dressing available in a 400g glass jar with an RRP of £2.39 and a 430ml squeezy bottle with an RRP of £2.99.
