International expert Judy Ridgway will lead on November 5th in London a guided tasting of eight Spanish extra virgin olive oils. Doctor Simon Poole, of the British Medical Association will back her up in the event. As for the olive juices to be tasted, producers interested in participating can still register.
The conference is organized around the screening of “Spanish Gold” directed by Zev Robinson and produced by Albertina Torres, a documentary about the culture and production of olive oil in Spain, seizing the presence of the director who is in the British city for the promotion of his project “Art and politics of food.”
