The Spanish Ministry noted that due to the high volume absorbed by the export channel the product has been able to output to high market resources at more remunerative prices for producers enhancing the sustainability of the market.
On the other hand, the apparent domestic market reached 530,500 tons, amounting to 6% over the figure of last season and is almost equal to the average of the previous four. The average monthly output in this section has been 44,200 tons.
Likewise, the total commercialization (apparent domestic market + exports) stood at 1.6413 million tons, representing an increase of 45% over the previous year and 24% over the average of the last four. The average monthly output has been 136,800 tons.
As for stocks, the total volume is 497,800 tons, rising 5% from the average of the last four seasons. In Spanish mills are stored 340,500 tons, representing a decrease of 1% compared to the average of the previous four. Meanwhile, in extracting, refining and bottling enterprises are located 157,300 tons, 17% above average.Exports of olive oil have reached in Spain a historic record,
